At The Birthplace at Mercy, we believe that birth is a special family event - a gentle time of celebration, intimacy, and accomplishment.

Our nursing staff, physicians and nurse midwives are pioneers in maternity care and family-centered deliveries.We are committed to providing care that nurtures mind, body, and spirit and will work with you to plan a birth experience that will best meet your needs. We also encourage families to tell us about cultural and family traditions related to birth that are important to them.

In September 2008, we moved from our location at Mercy Hospital on State Street to Mercy's new Fore River campus at 175 Fore River Parkway.
